So Jan gets a job driving a school bus. The first day of school, Jan is given the bus she's to drive. She's driving an elementary-school route, so the inside of the bus has been decked out with Sesame Street characters; muppets pasted on every wall. Jan shrugs and gets started on her route. The first kid is a super fat little girl. ""Hi, I'm Patty!"" Says the kid. Jan shrugs. Then heads up the street to the next stop, another super chubby girl who gets on saying ""Hi, my name's Patty!"" Jan considers the odds, but moves on. The next stop was a little tricky. A kid named Ross had severe downs syndrom, and was in a high tech wheel chair. The bus was equipped for ""special"" students. Jan had never worked that kind of equipment before, but she got Ross on safely and buckled in, despite his special scenario. The next seven or eight kids were fairly normal, as normal as grade-school kids get at least, right up until this unhealthy little kid named Lenny Graves hops on. This kid has a rough case of bunions, and he spends the rest of the bus ride bothering all the other kids by picking at them. At least a dozen times before they reached the school, some new kid was complaining that ""Lenny G"" was grossing them out. So after her first day was done, Jan had to hit the bar. The bartender, Mike, knew her pretty well, and could tell she was stressed out. ""What's wrong?"" Mike asked. Jan groaned. ""My new job is awful,"" she complains, taking her drink. ""I'm driving two obese Patties, special Ross, Lenny G picking bunions on a Sesame Street bus."" > As always, I'm so very sorry.
