Abrahamâs (from the Bible) computer Abraham decided that he needed a computer to track his large herds of sheep and goats. So he went to the computer store and bought all the hardware and peripherals and high-end software, brought it back to his tent, and hooked it all up. He was so proud and wanted to show it off so he called in his son Isaac. âIssac, come see our new computer. Now Issac, being of the younger generation, immediately sat down and started exploring the set up. But as he did, a growing look of concern spread over his face that only worsened with each passing minute and mouse-click. Finally Abraham couldnât take it any more and he blurted out, âIssac, whatâs wrong? Donât you like our new computer?â âFather Abraham, it a fine computer. But Iâm worried that with all these peripherals and the high-end software packages, the CPU doesnât have enough primary memory to run it all.â At this, Abraham just laughed. âOh Issacâ, he finally said. âWe donât need to worry about that. The Lord will provide the RAM.â
