A Japanese sailor sent out an SOS call. Just as he is sinking a small boat from the Vladivostok coastguard arrives. Four men greet him and help him onboard. The first gives him a towel. The sailor dries himself and tries to thank the man, but neither speak each others language very well. The second gives him a warm military jacket. Again he thanks his saviours as best he can. The third gives him a rifle. He thanks the man but is confused as to why a gun would help him in the current situation. Finally the captain of the coast guard vessel hands him a piece of paper, but the sailor does not understand what is written. After some attempts at communication, they try to switch to English. The captain points to the paper and states: "Draft letter."
