As Jesus hangs from the cross⊠he calls down to Peter, âPeter come to me, I have something I need to tell youâ. Peter attempts to climb the hill to see Jesus, but before he gets to the top the guards stop him, beat him bloody, and send him away. The next day, Jesus calls out to Peter again. âPeter come to me, I have something I need to tell youâ. Peter climbs the hill, almost makes it to Jesus, but the guards grab him just before he can hear the lords message. This time , they beat him near to death before sending him away again. The third day, Jesus calls out to Peter again. âPeter come to me, I have something I need to tell youâ. This time Peter, all bloody and broken, crawls his way up the hill, makes it to Jesus and says âIâm here lord, what is it that you need to tell me?â. Jesus looks at Peter and says, â look Peter, I can see your house from here!â.
